GWA, Inc. knows that systems maintenance and energy expenses are substantial contributors to total facility cost. Accordingly, designs are performed with maintenance and energy costs as important considerations.
GWA, Inc. has provided engineering for a wide variety of project types, including Industry, Health Care facilities, Airports and Airfields, Educational Buildings at all levels, Office buildings, Military facilities, Correctional institutions, Water and Sewer plants, Sports and Exterior area lighting, Streetscaping, Roadways and Bridges, Data Centers, Science and Laboratory facilities, Theaters, Churches, Gymnasiums, Auditoriums, Food Service facilities, and Retail and Wholesale Marketing buildings. The firm also carries on an active practice in the Design of Medium-Voltage Power Distribution Systems (2,400 to 35,000 volts), including Aerial Pole-line Construction, Metalclad and Open type substations, and Underground distribution.
GWA, Inc is registered to practice in South Carolina and nine other states. Staff members are certified as LEED AP (Green Building Council) and RCDD (BICSI).
