About Us

Welcome to Barry Johnson State Farm! We are proud to serve Northeast Columbia and surrounding areas by providing Auto Insurance, Home Insurance, Renter’s Insurance, Life Insurance, Business Insurance, Flood Insurance, Financial Services and yes, even Pet Insurance!

My team and I are excited to open our doors in August and are thrilled to meet new customers as well as welcome current customers from the Marilyn Wilson Agency! Prior to joining State Farm, I worked for over ten years in the transportation and logistics industry where it was my passion to insure (pun intended) my customers received their shipments on time. I am bringing that same passion and commitment to my customers here at State Farm. I am a lifelong resident of Columbia and my wife and I have two sons, one is a junior in high school and the other is a junior at The Citadel. I am a proud graduate of the University of South Carolina where I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Insurance and Economic Security. Don't worry though, we will insure Clemson fans too!
