Job Description
Are you looking for a career with a growth oriented company? The Crossings at Columbia is currently seeking a Director of Sales and Marketing. This position is responsible for overseeing the internal and external marketing efforts of the community. Responsibilities: • Manage incoming inquiries and provide tours of the community to prospective residents and families; Ensure staff is trained to handle inquiries and tours as needed. • Respond to inquiries; Identify needs, barriers, and next steps for each inquiry. Promote appropriate sales enhancements. Use lead tracking system to document all contacts with prospects. • Develop quarterly marketing plan in conjunction with marketing team. • Conduct/follow-up on external marketing calls. • Establish, promote and/or work with senior care support groups. • Build community relationships through participation in networking groups. Serve as educational spokesperson on aging and health issues. • Review and collect all appropriate admissions paperwork with resident and family; Manage the move-in process ensuring that each apartment is ready for move-in. • Respond to all resident and family concerns in a timely manner. • Develop family events in collaboration with other members of the marketing team. • Develop Resident Referrals. • Develop an active Respite Program. • Host community events. • Help serve as community spokesperson for local media; developing positive relationships with local media to promote coverage of the community. • Establish relationships with local skilled nursing facilities to ensure smooth discharge planning when necessary • Provide staff training on customer service skills and communication techniques when working with residents and families. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; 3+ years’ experience working as a Marketing Director in Senior Care • Demonstrated ability to build a census. • Ability to analyze data and develop and implement a marketing plan. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and complete projects on time. • Ability to establish relationships and connections with a variety of people to include: prospective clients and their families, employees, community resource groups, and the management team. • Strong oral and written communication skills • Proficient using computer based programs.
