Fort Jackson's Commanding General, Brigadier General Milford H. Beagle, Jr., cordially invites you to observe the Army’s newest Soldiers as they negotiate the Night Infiltration Course on November 5th.
The Night Infiltration Course (NIC) is one of the most memorable training events experienced by Soldiers in Basic Combat Training. Soldiers charge out of a trench and advance towards an objective, experiencing live machine gun fire over their heads, while explosions and aerial flares enhance the training experience. Visitors will have the opportunity to watch Soldiers in action through night vision goggles.
They ask you to arrive promptly at 5:20 PM at the Fort Jackson NCO Club, 5700 Lee Road, Fort Jackson, SC 29207. You will receive a briefing about Fort Jackson's mission and the NIC. You will then get transported by bus from there to the event. You will need to print out a copy of the invitation that is available at the URL below to gain entrance to the Fort (along with your driver's license, proof of insurance and vehicle registration).
